My name is Zach. I’ve been fascinated by the human condition for as long as I could remember, and I built this website to explore it. I intend to dive into the rabbit holes I find most interesting and build in public.
Now-List
Similar to a now-page, but written in list form. I work full-time in Revenue and specialize in marketing and sales. Also, I’m a self-taught programmer. This holistic set of skills have afforded me the opportunity to work with very interesting entrepreneurs and fast-growing startups.
Here’s what I’m doing now:
- Double M Studios: I’m the Chief Strategy Officer for DMS. I carve out how the studio positions itself over the next 10+ years and establish external partnerships. This role empowers me to flex my creative and critical thinking while overseeing and implementing our marketing and technology.
- Real Deal Individual: Similar to DMS, I’m leveraging my experience and my curiosity to establish Nast B & RDI to be the primary example of independent artistry in 202x and beyond.
- Personal Branding: I’m convinced micro-communities are the future. First hand, I’ve seen the impact a personal brand has, and a quote sums up why building my own is important to me:
“You can’t teach what you don’t know and you can’t lead where you don’t go”_ — Wallo
Main Stuff
- Atomic Essays: I’m not aiming for polished and perfected writing, but rather short essays to get my ideas out. I can worry about refining them later.
- Long Articles: These are long-term projects that require more bandwidth and time than I have in a day. I intend to build upon these over time, further emphasizing this website as a living document — building in public.

I live to learn and teach as I go, but I’ve prolonged this project for too long. On this site, you’ll find my research expanding on the 4 sub-disciplines of The Root Node.

I’m aware that my radically open mind can lead to unpopular opinions, but I have no desire to discuss what’s “hot” or entice controversy. Remember, correlation does not imply causation.
I’m aware that my radically open mind might seem esoteric and eccentric, but my true goal is to fully immerse in my study without limitations, dogmatism, and vanity and then to report back on what I’ve learned.
