Just watched this video on if cycling is a good sport for a Mesomorph, which I am, and it made me think a lot about my predisposition to long distance Running like Marathons. The video described how Mesomorphs are predisposed to be really good at short bursts, like sprints, but don’t do well over longer distances. While the interviewee, Neil, was talking about Cycling, I couldn’t help but realize how my 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon time splits are phenomenal but I hit a wall around 15-18 miles which kills my long distance times.
